Scott Collins
Board Member
Scott is an experienced and passionate educator who has spent nearly two decades working to improve public education. As principal of Whitney High School, he is known for cultivating a strong, positive school culture where students and staff feel supported, valued, and motivated. His leadership is grounded in a belief that schools thrive when relationships, collaboration, and service are prioritized. Scott is committed to expanding his influence through continuous learning and system-wide improvement.
Originally from Southern California, Scott and his wife Danielle moved to Rocklin in 2014 to raise their family. Together, they have four children and are deeply rooted in the community.
Known for his thoughtful approach and strategic mindset, Scott contributes a valuable perspective to the foundation’s mission, grounded in both practical school leadership and a deep understanding of educational policy and systems. His collaborative nature and focus on community-building make him an integral part of the board.
Outside of education, Scott is an avid golfer, enjoys weekend getaways, and values the balance between professional excellence and personal well-being.
