The RPSF has its humble roots back in 2011, when a group of Rocklin Police and Fire Volunteers and other community members banded together to raise funds for a new K9 officer.  From that effort, the Rocklin Public Safety Foundation was born.  In the years since, the RPSF has honed its mission of supporting Rocklin Police and Fire — and the Public Safety Volunteers — by providing essential items not always covered by the City’s budget.  You can find a list of our accomplishments, events and contributions here.
 

We are working hard to increase our level of giving ability to take on more advanced projects for the police and fire departments. As budgets across our state make cuts to police and fire programs, we want to help our local community support the proper level of equipment and tools that our first responders need to keep our community safe. They put their lives on the line to keep us safe, we owe them and their loved ones the effort and resources to do their job well.
 

Our two major events each year are our golf tournament (May 10th) and Patriot Day (September 8th). Through annual donations, major giving holidays, and those two events we hope to raise over $200,000 so we can answer the call when our first responders have a need. From K-9 units that keep our human officers safe to decontamination chambers to help decrease cancer risks for our firefighters, our job is to care for those that care for our community.
