Helping those who protect us.
The Rocklin Public Safety Foundation (RPSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to support and enhance the Police and Fire Departments in the City of Rocklin, California. The purpose of our charter is to provide Rocklin’s Police and Fire Departments with funding for essential items that are not always covered by the city’s budget.

President's Message
Welcome to the Rocklin Public Safety Foundation website!
I have served on the RPSF Board of Directors since 2018 and it is my honor and privilege to serve as the Foundation’s President in 2023. What inspired me to get involved with RPSF is one of Rocklin’s most important characteristics, its professional, high-quality public safety teams. My family and I moved to Rocklin ten years ago and from the very beginning, have truly felt at home – with a clear sense of direction and a shared vision from the city leaders, with our excellent school system, with unparalleled public safety, but most of all – with the close-knit and caring community, with a deep sense of belonging.
The RPSF has its humble roots back in 2011, when a group of Rocklin Police and Fire Volunteers and other community members banded together to raise funds for a new K9 officer. From that effort, the Rocklin Public Safety Foundation was born. In the years since, the RPSF has honed its mission of supporting Rocklin Police and Fire — and the Public Safety Volunteers — by providing essential items not always covered by the City’s budget. You can find a list of our accomplishments, events and contributions here.
As president this year, and along with the entire RPSF Board of Directors, I would be thrilled and grateful to welcome your engagement with and contributions to the mission of our organization. We encourage individuals and businesses alike to seek out ways to become involved. There are many opportunities to do so – from providing much-needed financial support, to joining [MP2] the RPSF Board of Directors. Some of you may even consider joining the Rocklin Police and Fire Volunteer Program. No matter what you decide to do, your involvement will directly benefit the quality of life in our beautiful City of Rocklin.
Feel free to contact me personally with any questions, comments and suggestions at mariella.platner@rocklinpublicsafety.org. I look forward to hearing from you!
