John Brophy

John and his family have lived in Placer County since 1991. After graduating from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, he joined the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, John graduated from Diablo Valley Junior College and then from Chico State with a degree in Industrial Arts and a teaching credential.

While working for Pacific Bell John was transferred to the Sacramento area at which time, he discovered Rocklin and fell in love with the community. At this time, he left the phone company and in 1991 went into Real Estate and hasn’t looked back since.

John and his wife, Teri, have been married for 53yrs and have 2 children, Eric & Karyn. Eric was in the 1st graduating class and Karyn in the 3rd at Rocklin High. John has been the boys basketball scorekeeper for 24yrs, he also started the girls softball program and a sports booster.
