Carlos Valdez

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Carlos graduated from California State University, Northridge in communications studies and graduate studies in political science. Following college, Carlos began a long career in politics and public affairs. For nearly two decades, Carlos represented a variety of clients and employers, advocating for sound public policy and developing strong community ties on their behalf.

In 2016, Carlos and his family left southern California and moved to the City of Rocklin, for a new opportunity. In 2018 he founded Valdez Holdings, a corporation focusing on youth enrichment programs. His wife is a teacher and his two children attend the local public schools.

Carlos is a coach for Rocklin Lacrosse and is looking forward to serving his new community.
